Senior Application Security Engineer

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Application Security Engineer to lead and strengthen our application security efforts across the company.

What You’ll Own:

• Evaluate our current application security posture and identify areas for improvement
• Lead application security reviews, including threat modeling, code reviews, and dynamic testing.
• Collaborate closely with Software Asset Management (SAM) and development teams to embed security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Drive and oversee critical and regular security releases.
• Develop and implement automated security testing to ensure secure coding standards.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on application security for product teams and stakeholders.
• Assist teams in identifying, reproducing, triaging, and remediating application security vulnerabilities.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Application Security within enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise conducting security code reviews and dynamic testing (e.g., penetration testing).
• Strong knowledge of security tools and frameworks (static analysis, security scanning, penetration testing tools).
• Ability to clearly communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience guiding development teams as an application security SME.
• Proficient in risk assessment and technical security reporting.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and multinational teams.
• Some scripting and development skills.
• Experience managing security projects across diverse teams.
