Role Responsibilities
Cash Management of our EMEA accounts to facilitate end-of-day currency sales to zero out accounts.
Perform Foreign Exchange trading of EMEA currencies with banking counterparties and monitor money transfer exchange rates.
Perform timely Backoffice trade duties to ensure confirmations of all outstanding trades.
Prepare and manage the trades payments release queue.
Engage in the activities related to funding the early Europe and Middle East agents in a backup role.
Setup and maintain all banking for our Network agents utilizing Salesforce and ORMB in a backup role.
Process payments for the legacy WU Retail Services agents utilizing Treasury Workstation and banking websites in a backup role.
Action rejected payments and address opened cases from banks on compliance checks.
Perform daily payments reconciliation to ensure all payments and trades are received in bank accounts or debited from bank accounts on a timely basis.
Follow strict WU Treasury policies and procedures to meet established deadlines when executing payments.
Identify and implement process improvements as well as perform special project analyses for the EMEA regions as needed.
Requirements
1-3 years on the job experience in treasury operations or banking. Preferably in payment processing and cash management on a global level including foreign exchange back-office operations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related subject matter.
Experience in foreign exchange trading.
Experience with implementing SWIFT and/or other connectivity solutions with external banking partners, a plus.
Advanced Excel skills.
Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills to ensure company policies and procedures are upheld to support organizational objectives and safeguard the company’s funds.
Customer service orientated, and ability to operate under tight timelines.
CTP designation preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of a Treasury Workstation, a plus.
Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is 2,091 – 3,716 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
