Administration, configuration, monitoring, and lifecycle management of IBM POWER systems running AIX, including performance tuning, patch management, and troubleshooting
Responsibility for the creation, maintenance, and continuous updating of detailed system, architecture, and environment documentation in accordance with internal standards
Design, development, and implementation of automation solutions for operational and administrative processes using scripting and orchestration tools to improve efficiency, stability, and repeatability
Active support in the architectural design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing administration of new infrastructure components, including servers, operating systems, and related services
Planning and execution of system rollouts, upgrades, and migrations, including risk assessment, testing, coordination with stakeholders, and post-migration validation
π§ What you bring to the table β besides the desire to make a difference
Proven hands-on experience in the administration and configuration of AIX systems in enterprise environments
Solid experience in the administration of enterprise storage infrastructures, such as HP 3PAR and IBM V7000; additional storage technologies are a plus
Experience working with other Unix/Linux distributions, including strong shell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured, independent, and responsible approach to work
High level of customer orientation with a pronounced service and solution-focused mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Business-fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered an advantage
