System Engineer (all genders) for VEEAM backup systems

• You are responsible for the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of the backup infrastructure. This also includes the design and development of backup environments through to high-availability solutions.
• As part of 2nd level support, you will process assigned incidents, analyze problems and be involved in the planning and implementation of changes.
• You will be responsible for the planning and implementation of recurring migration projects and will also focus on the automation of operational tasks.
• You exchange information on current topics with colleagues from other departments on a daily basis.

• You already gained several years of professional experience in the field of IT backup solutions, especially with VEEAM.
• You have a broad basic understanding of client and server operating systems (Windows/Linux).
• You are proficient in scripting languages such as Microsoft PowerShell and REST) and have very good knowledge of “Veeam Backup and Replication”.
• You have a good understanding of the overall context of a complex IT infrastructure.
• You communicate clearly, objectively and targeted with customers, colleagues and superiors.
• A service-oriented way of working is a matter of course for you.
• You speak business fluent English - both written and spoken / German language skills are desirable.
