Job Description
Strategic Staffing Solutions’ customer is a private healthcare and medical products company that specializes in medical devices, wound care, continence care, and surgical products, serving hospitals, clinics, and patients worldwide.
What you will do:
Perform accounting activities for assigned legal entities within the Kaunas GFO platform.
Process financial transactions (AR/AP, bank reconciliations, travel & expense claims, intercompany transactions, cash management) in line with SLAs.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely month-end and year-end close in accordance with GAAP (IFRS / US GAAP / local GAAP).
Prepare statutory financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial metrics.
Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other external stakeholders.
Support transfer pricing reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
Act as key user for financial systems (SAP, COUPA, travel expense tools).
Drive process improvements and standardization across finance operations.
Provide backup support to other accountants and assist financial analysts as needed.

Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
Experience in financial closing and preparation of financial statements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP is a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
Very good command of Business English.
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Experience in financial closing and preparation of financial statements.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
