Intro
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring fair presentation of primary documents in the financial and tax accounting of the assigned company
- Tracking received payments and bank reserved amounts and informing responsible employees
- Conducting final approval of initial procurement documents
- Ensuring that the payment plans are correctly reported to management
- Making the necessary entries in the financial and tax records to make monthly closures
- Communicating with other company department employees about financial, accounting, and similar issues
- Ensuring correct billing of billing balances
- Preparing VAT and other monthly statistics and Bank of Lithuania declarations/reports as requested by public and financial institutions
- Facilitating the timely and orderly closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
- Assisting in managing the bi-annual and yearly audit processes, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
We expect You to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business administration
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial and management accounting
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, taxes and other mandatory documentation requirements for bookkeeping and accounting
- Good command of the English language
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Rivile, Dynamics 365 Business Central, or similar systems
- Good MS Office skills with particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.
