Talenteek’s client – iToDEV is a Lithuanian software development company with nearly 20 years of experience building custom web systems and mobile applications for local and international clients. Their team of 40+ professionals delivers complex digital solutions while continuously integrating modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted software development and quality engineering.
To strengthen their engineering team, iToDEV is looking for a Quality Engineer who will take ownership of quality across web and mobile projects. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building scalable quality processes, implementing automation, and ensuring software quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Identify quality risks across web and mobile applications.
Analyze specifications, user journeys, architecture, and code changes to define appropriate testing strategies.
Decide when to apply end-to-end, API, visual regression, accessibility, performance, security, or exploratory testing.
Design, build, and maintain automated testing solutions integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Transform repetitive manual regression testing into reliable automated quality flows.
Investigate unstable tests and improve automation reliability.
Use AI coding agents to generate tests, improve automation, investigate failures, and optimize quality processes.
Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, project managers, and designers to continuously improve product quality.
3+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, Software Engineering, or a similar technical role.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, test architecture, and risk-based testing.
Experience working with code repositories, Git, APIs, development environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience building or significantly improving automated testing solutions.
Practical experience with at least one web or mobile test automation framework.
Ability to independently choose appropriate testing approaches and automation strategies.
Experience using AI coding tools (or strong willingness to adopt them in daily work).
Ability to evaluate AI-generated solutions and recognize maintainability, security, or quality issues.
Good written and spoken English.
Experience with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Appium, Detox, Flutter Integration Tests, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar tools.
API and contract testing experience.
Visual regression, accessibility, performance, or load testing.
Basic knowledge of security testing (OWASP).
Experience working with BrowserStack, emulators, simulators, or real devices.
Experience building reusable testing utilities or automation frameworks.
