Asisstant  is responsable for product design, production improvement, increasing work efficiency, performing time analysis of manufactured products and improving the quality and competitiveness of manufactured products. Assistant must follow the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, resolutions of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, other normative acts in force in the Republic of Lithuania, the Company’s Rules and this job instruction

Competencies:

Fluent in English communication (written & verbal) ability;

Fluent in Lithuania communication (written & verbal) ability;

Excellent computer skills with Microsoft office software & ERP system operation experience;

Knowledge of the basic characteristics of rubber, polymer-coated and non-woven materials;

Knowledge of technological processes of products manufactured in the company;

Good project management skills;

Knowledge of Lean;

Excellent communication skills;

Leadership and team work ability;

An engineering problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude;

EMPLOYEE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the accurate implementation of ‘Product Change’ within the Operation; which includes design, manufacturing and documentary changes;
  • Responsible for product process modification to achieve lower cost and higher quality and productivity;
  • Act as an engineering consultant role for the local production team, include but not limited to technical solutions, special documents translation and updates, etc.      
  • Examine the domestic and foreign experience in manufacturing technology, participate in the development and deployment of production efficiency, improving the quality of labour input and material consumption reduction measures.
  • Prepare reports related with production (both internally and externally).
  • Responsable for all processes related to SOP’s (audit plans preparation, SOP auditing, maintaining audit reports and updating instructions according to findings);
  • Creates, maintains and updates SOP documentation, related to manufacturing processes for existing products;
  • Performs various tests related to production changes, new components, etc.; complete the trial production documentation;
  • Maintains product sample shelves;
  • Advises product managers on all production issues, performs the tasks assigned to them;
  • If necessary, measures production times, checks the structure of the product;
  • Ensure protection of industrial and commercial secrets;
  • Ensure timely and high-quality performance of work tasks in compliance with the requirements of occupational safety and health;
