About Us:

In 2017, we founded a company with the primary goal of saving electrical energy while creating comfort for humans and building a sustainable environment.
Conservation of natural resources will increasingly become an important issue and corporate responsibility.

We combined the experience accumulated in the lighting market with professors from Kaunas University of Technology to create something that will fundamentally change the perception of lighting. With the help of our innovative solution, we can manage lighting in a way that makes people feel exceptionally comfortable while reducing energy consumption by up to 80 percent.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager/CTO to lead our product development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware projects and a deep understanding of the intersection between technology and design. This role is crucial in driving the strategy, execution, and delivery of our innovative homeware products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a forward-thinking technology strategy aligned with the startups business objectives.
• Management of R&D (Research and Development in Science, Technology) activities.
• Drive innovation by identifying and adopting emerging technologies and industry trends.
•  Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and product features.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring quick iteration and time-to-market.
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to define product specifications and deliver high-quality, user-centric products.
• Implement agile methodologies to foster a fast-paced, iterative development cycle.
• Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for all technology initiatives.
• Align technological planning with the overall strategic planning of the startup.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate with other departments to integrate their needs and ensure cohesive execution.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing technical team, including software engineers, hardware developers, and other technical roles as needed.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
• Design and implement scalable and robust technology infrastructure to support rapid growth and product scalability.
• Create additional products by expanding the service area. Ensure the necessary certificates and other documentation so that the product is suitable for other countries.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to align technology initiatives with business needs.
• Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Evaluate and implement cost-effective technology solutions to support business growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience in R&D (Research and Development in Science, Technology, and Economics) management.
• Experience in product certification management.
• 7+ years of experience in technology roles, at least 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of leading technology and product development initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of hardware, firmware development, product management, and technology infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and align technology with business goals.
