Implements supervisory regulations regarding Compliance. Represents the bank before supervisory authorities (regulators, trade associations etc.). Provides legal advice on new products and on how changes in regulations may affect documentation and legal procedures. Responsibilities are within the Compliance Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines.

We are looking for an experienced professional to support Nasdaq’s Payments Monitoring Program on matters related to Anti-Corruption and Anti-Fraud Compliance. You will be part of a team responsible for actively monitoring and analyzing company data to identify potential instances of bribery, corruption, and fraudulent activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations by flagging suspicious transactions or behaviors for further investigation and taking preventive measures to mitigate risks. The position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania and the employee will report to the manager based in the US.

What you will do

  • Utilize data analytics tools to review financial transactions, vendor payments, employee expense reports, and other relevant data for patterns indicative of bribery, corruption, or fraud
  • Setting up alerts and monitoring systems to identify potential red flags, like unusual transactions, large payments to unknown entities, or unusual activity by employees in high-risk regions
  • Conduct initial investigations into suspected cases of bribery or fraud, gathering evidence, and collaborating with risk and legal teams, as needed
  • Assisting manager with preparing reports and presentations on identified compliance issues and presenting findings to other teams and senior leadership
  • Identify high-risk areas within the company’s operations and collaborate on developing strategies to mitigate those risks
  • Maintaining subject matter awareness and understanding of applicable ABAC laws and guidance
  • Be a mentor to other team members, including by providing work instructions, constructive feedback, and subject-matter guidance on bribery and fraud issues

What we expect

  • Knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and regulations (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act)
  • Preferred university studies/degree in Business, Finance, Law, or International Affairs (or related field)
  • Some meaningful years of work experience in compliance, legal, or similar area
  • Fluent English language skills and strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
  • Experience working with data analytics tools, like Excel, Power BI, Tableau
  • ACAMS, CAFS, CFE or similar certification in anti-bribery/ anti-corruption or anti-fraud is a plus!

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 2 days per week.

Monthly base salary 3300 - 3600 EUR gross. The final offer will be based on your experience and skills.
