Job Description
Major accountabilities:
- Lead projects to submit patient access dossiers to regulatory authorities applying high standards of operational excellence.
- Utilizes insights from cross functional teams and market research to launch, develop and implement high quality Patient Access strategic and operational plans.
- Establishes and maintains a strong professional network.
- Communicates relevant changes and trends in local health policy environment and Patient Access activities of new competitors to the cross functional team.
- Creates and work with the cross-functional team to agree Business Cases.
Key performance indicators:
- Reimbursement/listing status, price versus targets, time to reimbursement/access
- Improvement/expansion of patient access
- Revenue, market availability/access
- Management of relevant local systems and processes to secure optimal patient access
Minimum Requirements:
Work Experience:
- Understanding of the national healthcare and regulatory environment for drugs, including pricing and reimbursement processes
- Proven ability to understand and clearly communicate scientific, legal, and economic topics
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and influencing abilities with well-developed analytical and strategic thinking
- Collaboration and leadership skills, including the ability to manage cross-functional teams and relationships with external stakeholders
- Deep understanding of economic drivers, healthcare systems, market access strategies, and policy-making processes
- Competent in tracking systems and using real-world evidence (RWE) to improve patient access and support value propositions
- Customer-centric mindset with agility in adapting to regulatory updates and market intelligence
