Legal Counsel

Due to our growth ambitions, we are looking for a talented Legal Counsel for our Vilnius office. 

As a Legal Counsel, you will play a critical role in advising Inbank on all legal matters related to our fast-growing financial services business. You’ll be part of a high-performing, cross-functional legal team that works closely with business units, product managers, customer support and compliance to support innovation and ensure legal robustness across everything we do. You’ll navigate complex regulatory landscapes, participate in contractual negotiations, and help shape legal decisions that enable Inbank to scale responsibly.

Your work will directly influence our ability to launch new products, enter new markets, and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving financial environment. In addition, your role will include day-to-day responsibilities such as communicating with third parties, preparing official responses to various institutions, supporting the marketing team in ensuring compliance of financial advertisements with applicable regulations, and assisting the customer support team in preparing legally sound replies to customer inquiries and claims.

To be successful in the role, you ideally bring the following skills with you:

• 4 years of previous professional legal experience, background in financial services is considered a plus
• Understanding of Lithuanian financial regulatory frameworks, including banking and consumer credit
• Proven track record in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements
• Strong ability to assess legal risks in the context of business goals and communicate clearly with both legal and non-legal stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters in parallel
• Fluent communication skills in English and Lithuanian (both written and spoken)
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• A Master’s degree in law from a university and a qualification to practice law in Lithuania

• Experience in fintech or innovation-driven, fast-paced companies
• Background in supporting digital product launches
• Familiarity with agile environments and cross-functional collaboration
