Incogni is a fast-growing consumer privacy-tech product helping people remove their personal data from third-party companies. As we scale globally, we’re evolving how our engineering teams build, deploy, and operate services.
We’re looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer experienced in supporting growth during monolith-to-microservices transitions, who understands how infrastructure and developer workflows must evolve as systems and teams scale.
If you want to:
- Evolve our architecture toward a scalable, service-oriented ecosystem;
- Improve orchestration, autoscaling, and progressive delivery (Blue/Green, Canary);
- Define and operationalize SLOs, improve alerting, and mature incident management;
- Ensure strong observability across logs, metrics, and traces;
- Improve CI/CD for fast, safe, and observable deployments;
- Build self-service infrastructure and internal tooling;
- Establish golden paths and reusable infrastructure templates;
- Embed security and policy-as-code into delivery workflows;
- Promote cost-awareness and optimization (FinOps);
- Drive best practices in infrastructure and operational excellence;
- Lead by example in automation and scalable platform design;
- Mentor engineers and continuously improve our infrastructure landscape.
And you can check off:
- A strong background in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, specifically supporting Monolith → Microservices transitions;
- Deep knowledge of Linux and networking fundamentals;
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible);
- Proficiency with container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) and autoscaling;
- Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (e.g., EFK or similar).
Bonus points if you:
- Led DevOps or Platform Engineering teams;
- Helped build an Internal Developer Platform (IDP);
- Implemented SLO-based reliability models and on-call processes;
- Have formalized DevOps best practices across multiple teams in a scaling organization.
