Kubernetes Platform Engineer (all genders)

• You are responsible for the further development and operation of our central multi-tenant Kubernetes platform including logging and monitoring.
• You constantly evaluate new technologies and test their usability.
• You document best-practice approaches and also ensure a cross-departmental exchange of knowledge.
• You work on the automation of processes through infrastructure as code.
• You are the contact person for other departments with questions about the Kubernetes platform.
• As 3rd level support in the area of Kubernetes, you provide our customers with the help they need when others are at a loss.

• You already have several years of professional experience in the administration of Enterprise Kubernetes clusters.
• You enjoy applying Infrastructure as Code principles (e.g. with Terraform) and automation using CI/CD (GitOps).
• Ideally, you also have experience in dealing with telemetry & observability (metrics, logging, tracing).
• Network knowledge in the Kubernetes environment (Cilium, various LoadBalancers/Ingress) is desirable.
• You have a good understanding of diagnosing and resolving incidents in the production environment.
• Ideally, you already have a certification as CKA or CKAD or are willing to acquire this as part of your employment with us.
• You speak business fluent English - both written and spoken / German language skills are desirable.
