Join our strong Vilnius-based team with this 6-month temporary position, kickstarting your career in Accounts Payable.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices

• Maintain exception queue and corrections

• Maintain the Accounts Payable approval workflow

• Understand service level agreements and key performance indicators for Accounts Payable

• Contribute to the continuous updates of Accounts Payable process activities and procedures

• Assist with the implementation of initiatives for improving the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the Accounts Payable transaction processing

• Handle internal and external communication

• On rare occasion you might need to call to vendor/internal colleague to clarify any questionable invoice items, prices, or signatures

• Assist with reporting on Key Performance Indicators and invoice aging dashboards

• May assist other team members in departmental initiatives and perform other related duties as assigned

• Postgraduate or last year student in accounting, business administration or equivalent combination of experience.

• First experience in Accounting and knowledge of general accounting principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken)

• Good interpersonal skills

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to have:

• Some experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable processes in a complex and international business environment
