Join our finance team as an Intercompany Accountant and play a key role in managing complex financial flows across our global entities. You'll be instrumental in everything from intercompany recharges and invoicing to strategic budgeting and process improvements, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. What you will be responsible for:
Manage Intercompany Recharges: Manage and process intercompany recharges across multiple business units/entities.
Budgeting & Variance analysis: Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for intercompany activities. Collaborate with operational and financial planning teams to align recharges and allocations with business expectations.
Mid-Term Planning: Contribute to strategic planning exercises, including mid-term financial planning (3-5 years outlook). Assist in scenario analysis and sensitivity testing for recharges and allocations.
Invoicing: Prepare, issue, and reconcile intercompany invoices; monitor payments and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Analysis: Develop and maintain reports that track intercompany transactions, outstanding balances, and key performance indicators.
Communication: Act as a key contact for queries from other entities.
Month-End Activities: Perform month-end close activities related to intercompany transactions.
Audit: Coordinate with auditors (internal and external); provide required schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to ensure smooth audit processes.
Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations for intercompany transactions.Β
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate intercompany processes. Participate in system implementations or enhancements relevant to intercompany accounting and reporting. Promote best practices across the group.
Process Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of intercompany processes and procedures.
About you:
At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
Solid understanding and practical experience with Close & Period End Reporting, Balance Sheet Account reconciliations, and General Ledger Accounting.
Advanced English language skills (written and verbal) to effectively communicate within our international environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate expectations, outcomes, and insights to various levels of management within both Finance and Business functions.
A strong analytical mindset and a commitment to accuracy.
Proactiveness in identifying improvements and driving positive change.

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 2200 and 3200Β EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
