We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our growing Finance team. This is a hands-on and highly impactful role where youβll have the opportunity to shape financial processes, ensure operational excellence, and act as a vital link between management, external partners, and our internal teams.
What will you do:
- Work with the outsourced accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial data.
- Coordinate external financial audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors.
- Develop and implement finance processes: accounting policies, general ledger structure, and intangible asset management.
- Support colleagues across departments with finance-related questions and operational needs.
- Lead the month-end closing process and prepare comprehensive finance reports, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and KPI summaries.
- Contribute to budgeting cycles by providing insights, analysis, and accurate financial data.
- Conduct detailed expense reviews and help ensure cost efficiency across departments.
- Work hand-in-hand with the CFO with short and long term projects.
What we expect:
- Clear and structured communication in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to work full time from our Vilnius office with a 3-day on-site work week after onboarding.
- Experience either conducting or responding to audits according to Lithuanian accounting standards.
- Strong understanding and attention to detail of financial reporting, controls, and compliance processes.
- Strong collaboration skills with a high sense of ownership in performance.
- Proactive curiosity to improve, demolish and create processes to achieve higher quality results.
- While not mandatory, experience in a fintech or similar regulated sectors or previous experience as a financial controller with IFRS knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
