DescriptionWe are seeking a collaborative and adaptable Delivery Manager to own the successful unification and delivery efforts across our foundational data teams, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Catalyst, Analytics, and E&C. While agile principles should guide your approach this is not a traditional Scrum Master role; the emphasis is on standardisation, coordination, cross-team alignment, and delivery enablement rather than strict adherence to agile frameworks.
You will play a pivotal role in helping highly skilled but currently siloed teams work more cohesively, share knowledge more effectively, and deliver with greater consistency. Your work will free up senior team members from coordination tasks, enabling them to focus on strategic and specialist work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands the nuances of data-driven teams, and can bring structure without rigidity.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration and alignment across diverse data teams with varying tools, methods, and workflows.
- Own and lead the unification of foundational data functions (E&C, Analytics, Catalyst, DS, DE) through structured coordination and shared practices.
- Own day-to-day operational oversight, ensuring timely execution of business-as-usual (BAU) tasks and internal deliverables.
- Lead the delivery of custom projects involving foundational data teams, ensuring clarity of roles, timelines, and dependencies.
- Provide regular progress updates, capacity reviews, and early identification of bottlenecks to the VP of Foundational Data Strategy and Director of Analytics.
- Establish and own shared documentation practices, knowledge-sharing systems, and unified tooling standards.
- Own the delivery roadmap for scaling efforts in global locations (e.g., Bangalore, Mexico) by delivery oversight.
- Champion and drive a culture of continuous improvement, cross-functional learning, and pragmatic agility.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for ensuring cohesive delivery across foundational data teams, owning escalation paths, risk mitigation, and milestone adherence.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5-year experience as a Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or Project Coordinator in a data, analytics, or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of agile principles, with the ability to apply them flexibly in non-traditional or hybrid settings.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, ideally in a matrixed or global organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex, evolving environments.
- Familiarity with source code and project management tools such as Jira, Github, Gitlab, Monday, Wrike, etc.
- Understanding of data lifecycle concepts (data ingestion, processing, governance), familiarity with modern data platforms, tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), and practices (e.g., data cataloging, lineage, documentation) would be an advantage.
- Experience in data analytics domain is beneficial but not required.
The advertised gross monthly pay range for this role is: 4,416 - 5,500 Euros / Month.
