Data Quality Lead (Vice President)

As a core member of our Data Transformation team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Provide technical leadership in data quality management, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and technical solutions to prevent recurring data incidents
- Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in data quality management, and advise on their adoption
- Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive data quality framework and checks in Databricks, collaborating with technology and reporting teams to ensure smooth rollout and integration
- Develop and monitor data quality metrics, monitoring systems, data quality rules and validation processes
- Perform in-depth analysis of complex data incidents, prepare detailed technical reports, and contribute to management reporting on trends and improvements
- Collaborate across IT, data, and governance teams to ensure alignment with data governance policies
- Identify and implement process automation opportunities to enhance scalability and efficiency
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation for data quality processes, frameworks, and checks
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and best practices.
Qualifications
About You:
- 7+ years of experience in data management, with a strong focus on data quality
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Deep understanding of data governance principles and industry best practices
- Hands-on experience with data quality tools and methodologies (e.g., data profiling, cleansing, and validation)
- Strong technical expertise in Python, SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud-based data platforms
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience in leadership, team guidance, or mentoring.
Salary Ranges:
4050 - 5600 EUR GROSS
