Ready to change the game?

At Business Intelligence, your data doesn’t just sit in dashboards—it drives real decisions. Our leadership knows your name, values your insights, and counts on your work to steer the business. You’ll own projects end-to-end, shape strategy, and solve complex challenges across teams using modern tools like Google Cloud. From logistics to marketing, your impact is real. And big.

We are hiring a Data Engineering Lead who will oversee and grow the Data Engineering and Analytics Engineering functions. This role is responsible for designing and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality data models, and setting the strategic direction for our data engineering capabilities. The candidate will initially take a hands-on approach to gain a deep understanding of our current stack and workflows, gradually shifting toward team leadership and architectural ownership. Consequently, technical expertise is our primary requirement.

Sounds like your next challenge?

Here’s what your journey could look like:

  • Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for Data Engineering & Analytics Engineering, including the data warehouse project migration and priority-setting for analytics and AI initiatives.
  • Architect and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient data infrastructure, along with high-quality data models, pipelines, and AI-ready foundations.
  • Oversee platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and testing frameworks to ensure consistent performance.
  • Define and enforce data governance standards, documentation, model ownership, and lifecycle processes.
  • Implement robust data quality workflows, including validation, automated testing, and anomaly detection.
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools in the modern data stack, driving automation, innovation, and experimentation with AI and agentic technologies.
  • Monitor and optimize BigQuery usage and cloud costs.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the Data Engineering & Analytics Engineering team, fostering growth, strong engineering practices, and resilience in a fast-scaling environment.

Your part in the bigger picture:

  • Several years in a senior Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role with advanced SQL, Python, data modeling, and data architecture expertise.
  • Experience with CI/CD for data, automated testing, data validation, and orchestration tools.
  • Strong grounding in data governance, documentation standards, version control, and model lifecycle management.
  • Bonus: experience with AI-driven data agents, marketing/e-commerce data, or streaming technologies.
  • Ability to build scalable, automated, maintainable data workflows.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High resilience and the ability to navigate the ambiguity and pace of a rapidly scaling data domain.
