Job Description:
The role is to provide assistance to customers in order to get all load orders ready to go in the system to meet company expectations.
Must be able to communicate adequately in English.
Must be able to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision after training period, and be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
This role will also involve building and maintaining relationships with customers to ensure excellent customer service.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Upload cargo loads into the system to ensure that dispatchers can schedule on time.
- Answer incoming calls and emails from customers.
- Provide assistance and information to all customers about their cargo, location, and arrival to destination, in regards pickups, transit, and deliveries of various cargo.
- Update status reports of your specific customers based on real-time information.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skills required:
- Multitasking, proactiveness
- Attention to details
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Degree in Engineer / Administration / Finance is a big plus
- Solid data entry skills with regard to speed and accuracy.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
- A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced office setting.
- Organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
