We are seeking a high-energy and innovative professional to join the Accounts Receivable team. As a member of the team, we expect you to perform a variety of finance and accounting duties supporting several of our Expert Tam functions. This position will collaborate and work closely with the various stakeholders supporting each expert function as the Finance Business Partner.

What will you be doing?

  • Invoicing functions related to several business line areas.  This includes invoice generation, validation, and revenue recognition.
  • Analyzing, preparing and inputting data and adjustments into the automated on-line billing system to invoice NASDAQ customers.
  • Developing and maintaining SOPs.
  • Maintaining amortization schedules related to deferred revenue. Preparing roll-forward schedules for quarter-end financial statements.
  • Preparing General Ledger journal entries. Identifying and resolving any reconciling items.
  • Performing month-end and year-end financial close process.
  • Preparing refunds and write offs for receivable balances.
  • Researching, analyzing and resolving inquiries and problems pertaining to billing and collections.  Providing timely responses to internal and external customers, including internal and external auditors
  • Assisting with the development, testing and implementation of modifications/enhancements to financial systems.  Being responsible for analyzing business needs and translating the business need into system requirements.  Providing Quality Control testing related to new billing systems and modification to billing system for assigned areas. This area includes integration of new businesses into the billing system.
  • Sending reminders and calls to B2B customers with overdue receivables
  • Following-up on customer questions regarding overdue receivables, including the coordination of an internal workflow of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Working with accounting to solve payments that cannot be settled with invoices for various reasons.
  • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to outstanding invoices
  • Maintaining accurate records of all communication and payment arrangements
  • Collaborating with Business, Sales and Finance support teams to capture vital information and resolve issues.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience and accounting competence.
  • Excellent English language skills for both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial processes and financial system.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to set priorities and multitask.

Monthly salary: from 2600 Eur to 2900 Eur (Before Taxes). The final salary will depend on candidate knowledge and experience, other bonuses apply.

This is a full-time fixed-term position located in Vilnius, covering the maternity leave. The contract would be for 2.5 - 3 years. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 3 days per week. It’s expected from candidates be able to work flexible hours with overlap between Lithuanian and United States time zones to support smooth communication and collaboration, at least a few days per week.
