Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Our client – Icybit is a research and development company specializing in artificial intelligence, distributed computing, and big data analytics. The company is best known as the creator of WISE, a real-time crowd detection platform, and is currently active in the fields of telecommunication, transportation, and retail.

Opportunities

Build complex systems top to bottom in a small team of experts with more than 27 years of combined experience working in the field. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer (.NET/C#) to transition into a more Senior position by taking on greater responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation and support of a region-wide distribution platform comprising more than 40 microservices, including:
• Analysis of consumer electronics wholesale distribution business domain
• Design of platform architecture, databases and algorithms
• Implementation of frontend and backend functionality

Requirements

• Experience in .NET/.NET Core/C# and other Microsoft server-side technologies
• Experience in MS SQL, Entity Framework and other related database technologies
• Experience in React.JS, Angular.JS, Vue.JS or similar JavaScript technologies
• Knowledge of REST and other service-oriented methodologies
• Knowledge of the consumer electronics wholesale distribution business domain is a plus
• Experience in distributed computing and microservices is a plus
• Contribution to the Open Source community is a plus
