Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of low to medium complexity according to ABB processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will organize and execute tasks with a focus on getting things right the first time while showing care in your area of responsibility.

This role contributes to the Motion Business – Drive Products and Motion Service for Frequency Converters, Motors and Generators in Lithuania.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Performing field service activities professionally, including installation, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance, both on-site and remotely.
Establishing meaningful connections with clients, grasping their requirements, recognizing opportunities for operational enhancements, and suggesting appropriate solutions.
Preparing necessary materials and documentation for service tasks, ensuring quality, completeness, and compliance with ABB standards.
Investigating equipment or process failures, executing robust troubleshooting, recommending preventive actions, and supporting specialist projects through structured planning and follow-up.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical or equivalent technical field.
Electrical safety certificate (VK or AK at 1000V or 35kV), or education that enables obtaining certification under the same requirements.
At least three years of experience with substantial practical skills in diagnosing electrical issues related to equipment and process failures.
A solid technical foundation in the installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HV/LV motors, with familiarity in vibration and insulation measurements being beneficial.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and mandatory Lithuanian language knowledge.
Well-versed in MS Office; demonstrates collaboration skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage tasks with minimal oversight, even on weekends or public holidays when prearranged.
Valid Category B driving license; readiness for up to 70% domestic travel.
While the final salary will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, the starting base salary for this role is 3000 EUR per month. In addition to the salary, we offer an annual performance-based bonus, private health insurance, and sports compensation.
