You’ll be solving complex challenges and maintaining our own infrastructure with 60PB+ monthly data traffic. Here are its scale and maturity in numbers:

- 6PB+ Ceph storage
- 60PB+ monthly data traffic through our systems
- 300k+ service requests/sec processed
- 500k+ Kafka messages/sec streamed

Your day-to-day:

    • Understand product and business requirements, and design solutions to meet them.
    • Write clean, reusable code and improve best practices.
    • Design and build scalable, high-performance systems.
    • Own and justify technical and architectural decisions.
    • Share knowledge with other engineers
    • Collaborate with teams to deliver quality solutions.
    • Resolve complex issues and document solutions.
    • Support hiring and contribute to team growth.
    • Bring fresh ideas and drive innovation.

Tech Stack:

    • Web application: Python, Flask.
    • Databases: Postgres, Redis, Clickhouse.
    • Hosting: Clever-cloud, Hetzner, GCP.
    • Scraping tools: Puppeteer, Playwright.
    • Tools & analytics: Datadog or similar.

Your skills & experience:

    • Used to develop wep-app in Python at scale (1b API requests / month).
    • Fluent English (international team).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Very good communication skills.

      • Nice to have:
    • Experience in a remote environment.
    • Web scraping knowledge.
    • Some Data engineering skills.
    • Docker.

Salary:

    • Gross salary: from 5500 eur/month.
