As a Senior Operational Risk Officer, your mission is to strengthen Luminor’s operational risk management framework by providing independent oversight of change initiatives, supporting effective risk management practices, and helping the Bank navigate change in a safe and sustainable way.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Support the development and continuous enhancement of the Bank's Change Risk Management Framework

  • Provide independent risk oversight, review, and challenge of change initiatives, including projects, programmes, technology, process, and transformation changes

  • Advise stakeholders on risk management policies, procedures, and control enhancements.

  • Identify, assess, monitor, and report operational risks across the Bank

  • Contribute to risk reporting for senior management, governance bodies, and regulatory authorities

  • Monitor regulatory developments and emerging trends to strengthen operational risk management practices

  • Support the continuous improvement of Luminor's Operational Risk Management Framework

  • Collaborate effectively across teams, contributing to a positive and high-performing work environment

  • Support team continuity by acting as a backup for colleagues when needed

  • Perform other responsibilities relevant to the role as assigned by your manager

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • At least 3 years of experience in operational risk, non-financial risk, change risk management, or transformation programmes

  • Higher education in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and risk assessment techniques

  • Experience in coordinating, monitoring, and reporting risk management activities

  • Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and risk management tools

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage senior management and challenge constructively

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and adapt to changing business needs

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute effectively within cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
