About the role

We're looking for a Senior Data Scientist to help push our AI models for radiology forward — from chest X-ray to MSK and CT imaging. You'll work on problems that sit right at the boundary of computer vision research and real clinical use, where model decisions affect how radiologists work and how patients get diagnosed. This is a hands-on, senior-level role for someone who wants ownership over their models end to end, not just a slice of a pipeline.

What you'll do

• Design, train, and validate machine learning and deep learning models for medical imaging applications
• Own the full model lifecycle — data preparation, architecture selection, training, evaluation, and support through deployment
• Work closely with product, engineering, and regulatory colleagues to turn clinical and business requirements into working models
• Dig into large-scale, messy real-world imaging datasets — handle class imbalance, edge cases, and label noise
• Track and apply state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning research where it's relevant to our products
• Explain model behavior, performance, and limitations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and mentor less experienced team members
• Support regulatory and quality documentation of models where needed (we operate in a regulated medical device environment)
  
  Gross Salary for this position is between 65 000 - 80 000 euro per year.
