Purpose of the role

 

The Enterprise Applications Business Analyst enables effective design, change and optimisation of enterprise applications across a complex global business. The role translates business needs into clear technical, data and reporting requirements, supporting scalable solutions that improve processes, insight and decision making. Working as an individual contributor alongside a Senior Business Analyst, the role ensures enterprise systems deliver measurable business value.

Key accountabilities

Requirements Definition: Elicit, analyse and document business, technical and data requirements that are clear, complete and fit for purpose.

Business Process Analysis: Map and assess end‑to‑end business processes, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for simplification and automation.

Enterprise Applications Support: Contribute to the design and improvement of enterprise applications, ensuring solutions align with business priorities and architectural standards.

Data and Reporting Flows: Define data models, integrations and reporting flows that enable accurate, timely and trusted management information.

Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with global business and technology stakeholders to align requirements, manage expectations and drive informed decision making.

Delivery Support: Work closely with delivery teams to support solution design, testing and implementation, ensuring requirements are met and outcomes realised.

Change and Impact Assessment: Assess business impact of system and process changes, supporting adoption through clear documentation and communication.

Quality and Governance: Maintain high standards of documentation, traceability and compliance with enterprise governance and change controls.



Requirements

Skills, knowledge and experience

·       Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a complex, global organisation.

·       Strong capability in gathering and documenting technical, data and business requirements.

·       Solid understanding of enterprise applications and system integrations.

·       Experience analysing and improving cross‑functional business processes.

·       Confidence working with data, reporting concepts and information flows.

·       Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.

·       Structured, analytical approach with attention to detail and business impact focus.
