We are seeking an SAP Finance specialist with expertise in (one or several areas) FICA, FICO, Group Reporting, In-House Cash, Payments, Asset Accounting, Project Systems (PS), and RE-FX.
This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and delivering minor developments within SAP S/4HANA for the Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway & Denmark).
We’re seeking for a SAP Specialist across Finance business functional area who will work based on prioritized business requirements. The role requires close collaboration with Solution Architects, Product Owners, other functional SAP teams, and technical teams (including Integration, Basis, ABAP, and Fiori developers), as well as coordination with the IT Service Manager responsible for the relevant domain.
We follow ITIL best practices and SAP change management procedures and work according to SAFe framework.
What you’ll do:
This person is expected to provide timely support to business users, including issue troubleshooting, system monitoring, and executing minor enhancements within their area of expertise. You will:
Provide functional support to end-users encountering issues or ‘how to’ questions with daily transactions and routine processes (e.g., period-end closing, mass data maintenance activities).
Monitor critical job runs and ensure timely, accurate communication of findings or incidents to relevant business and technical stakeholders. Drive prompt issue resolution.
Take ownership of operational responsibilities within your domain, including ticket resolution and troubleshooting. Be prepared to handle minor, major, and critical incidents as well as service requests in line with agreed OLAs. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document findings as needed.
Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for technical teams. Perform design and required configurations, execute Unit Testing (UT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).
Support larger-scale projects when necessary - contributing to documentation, configuration, testing, training, and end-user support, including participation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
What will help you thrive in this role:
This position could be a good fit for someone with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset. Excellent communication skills and flexibility to support business-critical incidents outside regular working hours when necessary are essential. You also need:
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in a functional role (e.g., FICA, FICO, Group Reporting, In-House Cash, Payments, Asset Accounting, Project Systems (PS), and RE-FX).
Solid understanding of core business processes in your respective SAP S/4Hana module (e.g.,, Record-to-Report, Usage-to-Pay, Invest-to-Divest, etc.).
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Experience working in SAP operations, including ticket resolution, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
Exposure to minor SAP development or enhancement activities (e.g., configuration, testing, documentation). Familiarity in working with technical teams (ABAPers, Integration, Basis specialists).
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Understanding of SAP transport management and change management processes.
We would see as an advantage: familiarity with ITIL-based support models and service management processes. Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems.
