Job Description

We are currently looking for a Risk Officer to join our team at the Ignitis Group. In this role, you’ll be responsible to contribute to Group Risk management framework (ERM) growth and implementation as well as risk identification, assessment, monitoring and oversight in the dedicated business area.  For this you will need to work in tight collaboration with wide spectrum of business colleagues as well as in the Risk team. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by: 

  • Shaping the most effective risk management framework together with the Risk team that fits the Company’s business purpose
  • Embedding value-adding risk management practices into business activities and overseeing their performance
  • Identifying, assessing, and monitoring risk development in the assigned Business area
  • Monitoring and overseeing risk exposures against the Company’s Risk Appetite and acting if needed
  • Preparing periodical management and oversight risk reports as well as presenting them to relevant governance bodies
  • Being able to work with various ERM practices and, when needed, performing deep-dive assessments
  • Contributing to all other ERM framework development and/or Risk function purpose-driven initiatives and “must-do” tasks

Qualifications

  • A university degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field 
  • ~5 years of experience in the field of risk management and knowledge and hands-on experience working with various risk management framework components (e.g. various types of risk assessment and measurement, incident management and assessment, internal controls framework and attestation, also various other data analysis for risk purposes). 
  • Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills (both verbal and written). 
  • Experience of executive presentation; 
  • Proficient user of MS Office programs, PowerBI skills or alike.  
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, including the ability to identify and understand key risk drivers and possible impacts 
  • Responsible, collaborative, result-oriented, proactive, and with growth mindset.
