Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop new biotechnological processes, scale up existing production processes, and transfer new products to manufacturing;
• Proactively improve production technologies for company-manufactured products, support production units on technological aspects of product manufacturing, and solve technological issues in production units;
• Automate processes and actively use LEAN tools to improve efficiency.
• Analyze scientific literature, plan experiments for yourself and others within the Technology Development unit and other departments;
• Conduct laboratory experiments and detail them according to applicable regulations;
• Represent the purification process development team and present information during collaborative projects with other departments;
• Order and maintain laboratory equipment, and procure necessary materials and supplies;
• Prepare and update documentation, initiate and document process changes;
• Train newly onboarded employees to ensure smooth integration and knowledge transfer.

Keys to Success:

Education:

• Bachelor degree in bioengineering, biochemistry, biotechnology or similar life sciences, master degree in similar fields can be as advantage.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in protein purification 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of protein properties and analytical methods;
• Knowledge of the principles of equipment management and maintenance;
• Knowledge of general principles of documentation;
• English language skills;
• Diligence, attention to detail, responsibility, organization;
• Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement.

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €2 183,33–€3 270,83.
