Portfolio Specialist

 


Position

 

The incumbent manages product and packaging development initiatives within the Baltics cluster, aligning with company policy, the annual plan A&SP, and market requirements, while ensuring compliance with global and local regulations. The function coordinates internal stakeholders to drive successful product development and improve speed to market. Additionally, the role manages approved product developments, portfolio revisions, and innovation initiatives at the market level, supporting the growth of RRP (Reduced Risk Products) brands through effective activation and marketing campaigns


 
Responsibilities

 

  • NPD/PLM Projects ownership: The key responsibility is to implement all PLM projects for the cluster, covering RRP category. This includes supporting the PLM process and acting as the PLM expert for the market. The individual is responsible for optimizing local and cross-functional processes and communication to improve project turnaround times, ensuring compliance with PLM guidelines and JTI internal policies. Additionally, they will closely cooperate with internal stakeholders to track and anticipate legally required changes related to products and packaging, ensuring adherence to local market legal requirements.
  • Brand development and trade activation campaigns: Drive assigned Brand growth related initiatives & it's implementation in market. Cooperate closely with internal stakeholedrs and external partners (Creative Agency) to ensure effective campaigns, proper information flow and collection of relevant approvals through OG documents. 
  • Identify business opportunities: Analyze market research and sales data to better understand RRP category drivers, local market dynamics, local consumer and shop clerk trends. Recognize and evaluate business opportunity and threat areas.  
  • Internal engagement: Develop, manage and implement internal team engagement activities in line with RRP strategy.
  • Budget & spending’s control: Allocate investment among activities within assigned budget, record and control spending. Act as power user in purchase process in SAP, take ownership of Brand Marketing Purchase Orders, guide vendors on invoicing process.

 


Requirements

 

  • High school education, University Degree (preferred)                   
  • 1-2 years of experience in NPD function/ data processing & analysis/ project management in FMCG companies                               
  • Fluency in English (written & spoken)                            
  • MS Office
  • Collaboration, Communication & Analytical skills
  • Experience and knowledge of innovation processes, packaging and product development
  • Good stakeholder and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects and providing NPD advice
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and demonstrating the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities
