iOS Developer
BooztTHE OPPORTUNITY
Boozt is a tech company that happens to sell fashion. Flat Nordic structure, five offices (Copenhagen, Aarhus, Malmö, Vilnius and Poznań), and a culture where "nerdy" is a compliment. We experiment, we make data-driven decisions, and we run several annual hackathons, mostly because we would be doing that stuff anyway.
In the iOS team we build the two apps our customers actually shop with: Boozt and Booztlet.
Shoppers across the Nordics and beyond, one shared codebase, and a team small enough that your opinion moves things. We ship on a steady release train and we like to keep it rolling, so what you build does not sit in a branch for months. It goes out, and the data tells you how it landed.
We also like to live on the cutting edge in the iOS Chapter. New Swift version, new SDK, new tooling: we are on it early, on purpose, because staying current is cheaper than catching up.
The codebase shows it: Swift 6 adopted, pure Swift, 40+ Swift packages shared between the apps with a tight dependency graph, and UI as code (storyboards were never invited). CleanSwift in UIKit, MVVM where we do SwiftUI, and documentation and configuration as code, because clicking through settings is not version controlled.
What keeps us busy right now: growing our SwiftUI footprint, strengthening testing and automation, and pushing what AI coding agents can do for us.
We use AI a lot, but you have to be the expert. The agents take care of plenty of the typing, while the judgement, the architecture and the final call stay with you. We think that combination makes the craft more fun, not less.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Ship features to shoppers across the Nordics and beyond, and keep the release train rolling.
Work in one of the larger modularised Swift codebases around, and help us share even more code between the apps.
Work with the newest Swift and iOS features early, not two years after the keynote.
Work with coding agents as part of your daily flow. We build and maintain our own agentic setup in the iOS Chapter, and you will help shape it.
Have a real voice in the iOS Chapter: how we build, what we adopt, what we retire.
Enjoy Research Friday every other week: time set aside to research, play and learn whatever makes you a better developer.
