The Global Business Services (GBS) Invoice to Cash (I2C) Manager is responsible for the strategic oversight and performance management of I2C operations. This leadership role ensures efficient, compliant, and high-quality service delivery for the entire cycle including accounts receivable, credit management, collections, and cash application across a multi-market, global environment.
Acting as the global process owner and primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, the manager is accountable for driving standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role provides direct leadership and oversight to the Global Process Specialist (GPS), ensuring the successful execution and global adoption of the process improvement runway.
What you will be responsible for:
This role is accountable for the full scope, complexity and quality of I2C operations, with clear links to team development and process excellence:
Operational Excellence & Service Delivery: Accountable for end-to-end I2C performance across all global markets. Act as the primary escalation point for critical service issues while managing the departmental OPEX budget and resource allocation to optimize "cost-to-serve."
Performance Governance & Compliance: Define and monitor global KPIs (Cycle Time, Collection Effectiveness, Unapplied Cash) to drive efficiency. Lead executive-level governance forums and ensure 100% adherence to internal controls, SOX, and IFRS/GAAP standards.
Strategic Transformation & Digital Roadmap: Partner with Global Process Owners to spearhead the L2C digital strategy. Lead the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, RPA, and AI tools while fostering a Lean/Six Sigma culture of continuous improvement.
Strategic People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global I2C organization. Responsible for senior-level talent development, succession planning, and fostering a culture of accountability across both direct and indirect reports.
About you:
Educational Foundation & Language: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (Master’s/CPA/ACCA preferred). Must be fluent in English with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to global stakeholders.
Leadership & Global Operations: 7–10 years of progressive experience in O2C/I2C, with 3+ years in a management role. Proven track record overseeing global multi-site operations, GBS, or outsourced relationships.
Process Mastery & Systems: Deep expertise in end-to-end I2C processes (Credit, Collections, Cash App). Advanced proficiency in ERP systems—specifically SAP ECC or S/4HANA—to drive standardization and automation.
Strategic Execution & Change Management: Experience leading teams through stabilization or turnaround phases. Strong project management skills to deliver technology implementations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Governance & Analytics: Strong command of operational budgets (OPEX), financial controls, and regulatory compliance. Ability to translate performance data into actionable, data-driven insights.

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 4600 and 5700 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
