Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Expedition Team to achieve departmental goals;
- Development FTL lines (customers, carriers) between Baltic states and Western EU countries;
- Playing an active role in managing the Customer Service;
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Develop strategies to streamline processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular strategic business reviews with carriers and improvement of the carriers base;
- Implementing quality agreements with subcontractors;
- Ability to work closely as a team, bringing issues up openly and timely;
- Initiating meetings, training when necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as forwarder for FTL;
- At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader / Head of the divison;
- Team management and leadership skills;
- Cargo transportation experience between Baltic and Western countries ( FTL) ;
- Experience in developing new lines;
- Experience in strategy development, process design, and project delivery;
- Problem solving and Issues analysis;
- Be able to ask effective questions and collect facts from multiple sources in order to solve problems;
- Strong communication skills and a positive mindset;
- Good technical understanding both theoretical and from practice;
