You’ll be developing complex products with high coding standards, maintaining our own infrastructure, handling petabytes of data, and solving challenges on a daily basis. We got you covered with a team of strong professionals to support you, a well-built tech stack, and loads of ownership.

Your day-to-day:

    • Craft clean, maintainable and high performing code.
    • Own and evolve system design.
    • Collaborate with teammates in architectural and technical discussions.
    • Research of new problem solving technologies.
    • Observe and analyse system behavior understanding and preventing risks.
    • Empower and support teammates in developing their expertise and growing as specialists.

Your skills & experience:

    • Proficient in back-end engineering: Strong experience in crafting and maintaining scalable, distributed systems. Proficiency in Golang is preferred but not mandatory. 
    • Knowledge of messaging services and patterns (one of) Kafka, RedPanda, RabbitMQ or similar.
    • Database experience: Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization.
    • Version control: Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
    • Testing and debugging: Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools, ensuring code quality and reliability.

    • Nice to have:
    • Knowledge of gRPC.
    • Knowledge of RESTful API design: Understanding of how to create and consume RESTful APIs, adhering to industry best practices.
    • Working knowledge of column-oriented (ClickHouse, BigQuery or similar) database systems.

Salary:

    • Gross salary: 3500 - 7200 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and experience.
