Job Description
Execute day to day accounting activities which may include maintenance of a complete and accurate general Ledger accounting and preparation of financial reporting in line with Service Level Agreement with the business
Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end closing processes
Conduct related General Ledger (GL) closing activities ensuring they are completed in time and accordance to the group guidance
Manage Fixed Assets ledger
Prepare, document, and keep up to date operating procedures for accounting role
Perform Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, account clearing and investigate any discrepancies
Collaborate with other Etex departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
Assist in the Internal and External audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
Ensure all oral and written interaction with all business partners – internal and external is at highest professional standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancement of General Ledger
Requirements
Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
Written and verbal fluency in English
Few years of experience in General Accounting in a multinational environment
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
Change resistant
Professional style when dealing with business clients
Compliance & controllership mindset
Proficient IT skills including Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of SAP platform would be a great advantage
Experience in transition of functions would be an advantage
