Job Description

We are currently looking for a new colleague to join our HSE team in “Ignitis Group Service Center”. If that speaks to you, we would be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:  

• Offering technical guidance on environmental regulations, permits, ISO management systems, and related projects
• Ensuring full compliance with environmental permits, laws, and regulatory requirements
• Conducting audits for operational sites and documentation to verify environmental compliance and implementing corrective measures as needed
• Developing and implementing environmental management systems and programs across Ignitis Group’s operations
• Designing and executing continuity for air quality, hazardous materials, waste, spill prevention, and discharge control according to permit requirements
• Tracking, evaluating and reporting environmental performance indicators, providing management with insights on compliance and operational  trends
• Building and maintaining effective communication and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance and operations
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and mitigation measures for environmental performance and compliance

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in an environmental role within an industrial or energy-sector setting
• Familiarity with environmental legislation, compliance processes, and technical standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian; additional languages are an advantage
• Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while being an effective and collaborative team player
• Skilled in using computer applications and managing tasks with attention to detail and initiative
