Defence Business Development Lead
CGIPosition Description:
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded professional with a strong defence sector background to lead CGI's business development in the Lithuanian defence market.
You will build relationships with defence institutions, military stakeholders, industry and technology partners, identify client needs and translate them into concrete business opportunities by leveraging CGI's local and global capabilities.
The role covers the full business development lifecycle from market engagement and opportunity qualification to solution shaping, proposals, tenders, negotiations and contract signature.
The primary focus is Lithuania, with selected opportunities in Latvia where relevant.

Monthly salary: EUR 4,500 - 6,000 gross.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Develop and execute CGI's business development plan for the Lithuanian defence market
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the Lithuanian defence ecosystem, including military, defence institutions, industry and technology stakeholders
• Engage with key decision makers to understand defence priorities, operational needs and upcoming initiatives.
• Use your defence knowledge to identify new clients, partners and business opportunities
• Represent CGI at defence events, conferences, associations and other relevant industry forums
• Connect client needs with relevant CGI capabilities, solutions and international defence experience
• Develop partnerships for joint opportunities, tenders and strategic cooperation
• Manage priority opportunities and maintain an active defence sales pipeline with clear next steps
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Strong knowledge of the Lithuanian defence environment, gained through professional experience in the Armed Forces, defence institutions, defence industry or closely related organisations, with a proven ability to engage effectively with military, government and industry stakeholders
• Experience in business development, sales, procurement or similar relationship-driven roles, with the ability to identify opportunities, build relationships and coordinate activities throughout the sales process
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with experts and partners across an international organisation
• Excellent written and spoken Lithuanian and English
Qualifications considered a strong advantage
• Experience working within or closely alongside defence, military, national security, or NATO-related organisations, providing a strong understanding of defence sector priorities and decision-making processes
• Experience collaborating with military, government, or national security stakeholders in Lithuania, including an understanding of defence capability planning, procurement, or operational environments
• Experience in defence industry business development, public procurement, tenders, or contracting
• Good understanding of how digital technologies and IT solutions can support defence and military operations
