Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Corporate Services & Compliance Manager to lead the establishment and ongoing legal, regulatory, and administrative operations of our new entity in Lithuania. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our business is fully compliant with all local laws and operationally ready, including managing company registration, taxation setup, ongoing compliance, and employee visa processing.

This is a strategic role at the intersection of legal, operations, and HR β€” perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is familiar with supporting foreign businesses setting up in Lithuania.

Key Responsibilities:

Company Formation & Setup:

  • Manage the full process of company incorporation and entity registration in Lithuania
  • Coordinate with legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and registration authorities
  • Handle corporate documentation, business licensing, and statutory filings
  • Open and manage local company bank accounts and assist with financial onboarding

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure the company meets all corporate compliance, GDPR, tax, and employment law requirements
  • Register the company with relevant tax and social institutions (e.g., VAT, corporate tax, Sodra)
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and maintain necessary filings and renewals
  • Coordinate with external legal, tax, and accounting partners as needed

Immigration & Visa Support:

  • Act as the main point of contact for employee visa and work permit processes
  • Support applications for company sponsorship status and work authorization
  • Liaise with immigration consultants or government authorities to ensure a smooth visa process

Operational & Administrative Support:

  • Oversee payroll structure, employment contracts, and onboarding compliance
  • Set up local HR processes in alignment with Lithuanian labor law
  • Facilitate office registration or leasing (if applicable) and coordinate with local vendors
  • Provide ongoing administrative support for documentation, renewals, and HR operations

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with company formation and corporate compliance in Lithuania
  • Strong knowledge of Lithuanian business, labor, tax, and immigration laws
  • Experience working with international businesses or foreign-owned companies
  • Fluent in English and Lithuanian (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Legal, Accounting, HR, or Business Administration background is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of supporting startup or SME entry into Lithuania
  • Familiarity with startup visa or tech visa programs
  • Well-connected with local legal, accounting, and government institutions
  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-functional tasks
