Chief Accountant

Our client – Virtualių Paslaugų Operatorius is one of the first companies in Lithuania to develop and implement a new generation e-commerce system that includes sale and management services and account administration. VPO's e-commerce system includes one-time money transfer transactions, payment initiation (MIP) and account information (SIP) services.

Job description  

• Supporting the delivery of business results through ensuring efficient accounting and reporting of the company
• Managing, controlling and performing financial and tax accounting
• Preparing and submitting of internal and external reports
• Preparing and submitting reports to Bank of Lithuania

• Minimum 3 years of experience in chief accountant or accountant position, preferably in financial services sector
• Wide-range co-operation and teamwork experience, both vertically and horizontally, preferably in a multicultural environment
• Preferably payroll and taxation related experience
• User experience of different financial information systems
• Advanced level knowledge of IFRS and respective country GAAP
• Comprehensive knowledge of the accounting processes and systems (incl. IT)
• Payroll and taxation expertise related knowledge of respective country
• Advanced analytical skills, including MS Excel at good level
• Higher economic education
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in local language and in English
