ABOUT THE PROJECT/ROLE:
You will join a diverse team of 6 multi-skilled engineers in Lithuania. With a T-shaped engineering culture, we focus on aviation reference data that powers OAG’s core products and deliver it to customers through Snowflake, file feeds, and APIs.

We rely on a modern and versatile technology landscape - .NET and C#, complemented by Snowflake for data warehousing and Python together with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. We manage infrastructure using Terraform and operate within the Azure cloud ecosystem, making extensive use of App Services, Blob Storage, YAML-based CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps. To maintain high standards, we monitor performance through Datadog and ensure code quality with SonarCloud.

YOU WILL: 

•    Develop and enhance existing Metis Reference services, ensuring smooth data ingestion and reliable customer delivery while contributing to the ongoing development of OAG's reference data architecture
•    Support and evolve the OAG Metis Direct solution
•    Participate in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating development tasks within an Agile team
•    Actively share domain knowledge, architectural decisions, and technical insights with teammates to foster continuous learning and alignment
•    Stay up to date with evolving technologies, tools, and best practices.

ESSENTIAL:

•    A mindset of continuous learning. It’s not so much what you know now, but the potential you have and a proven ability to learn and adapt fast
•    Experience working with databases, writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
•    Experience with object-oriented development using C# or Python
•    Experience with cloud providers such as Azure or any other cloud service provider
•    Knowledge of best practices: clean code, SOLID, TDD, design patterns, code smells…
•    Hands-on experience using unit testing frameworks and focus on building high quality solutions.
•    Experience building Continuous Integration pipelines and Delivering Continuously (CI/CD)
•    Experience working in Agile environments driven by methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
•    Fluency in English.

We will ensure that the exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary starts from 3250 EUR gross per month).
