As an Associate, Payments (Collections), you will be responsible for completing day-to-day collection processes and ensuring all work items are accounted for. You will conduct outbound and inbound calls to customers, negotiate and collect unpaid debts, process collection payments, and ensure proper posting for Accounting among other tasks. In this role, you will need to understand and follow company policies that apply to compliance and risk management processes.
Role Responsibilities
Responsible for completing day-to-day collection processes and ensuring all work items are accounted for
Conduct outbound calls to customers, negotiate, and collect unpaid debts
Process collection payments and ensure proper posting for Accounting
Complete responses to bank inquiries and disputes by preparing comprehensive case reviews
Tracking collection payments and follow up on payment arrangements
Support internal and external payment inquiries and when necessary engage payment vendors
Review accounts for placements to 3rd party collection agencies and support inquiries
Submit and track requests for proof of payments from retail agent locations
Performs various administrative functions including reporting and maintaining account notes
Ensure all requests are processed accurately and within Service Level Agreements
Role Requirements
English required, writing and speaking. (German language would be considered as a big advantage)
College degree highly preferred
Online payments and banking experience preferred
Debt collection and negotiation skills highly preferred
Ability to be proactive and independent with the ability to focus on the task at hand
Confidence in making instinctual and logical decisions with little or no supervision
You are self-motivated and results-oriented
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to use Microsoft applications, primarily Excel and Word
You are a team player and able to multi-task

Salary
The monthly gross base salary range is €1,375 – €1,860 gross. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
