I’m Katti Ramber, Head of Live & Events within Tech Pay TV, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward‑thinking team focused on shaping the future of entertainment.
The team behind Telia Play are passionate experts in Streaming & TV, and we work every day to create an exceptional experience for millions of users across the Nordics. We strive to make it easier for our users to discover great content - from movies, series, programs, and linear channels to an outstanding sports experience.
What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll help shape the future of Telia Play by building high‑performing Android experiences used by millions across the Nordics.
Develop, enhance, and maintain Telia Play for Android devices, with a strong focus on Android TV.
Design and optimize applications for performance, scalability, automation, and smooth release flows.
Collaborate closely within a cross‑functional team, working with designers and backend developers to implement modern architectural patterns and coding standards.
Build with a modern Kotlin-based tech stack using Jetpack Compose, our design system, Firebase, and GraphQL.
Create exceptional user experiences that delight and engage our customers.
What will help you thrive in this role:
We’re looking for someone with strong experience in building scalable, high‑quality applications for Android TV platforms.
You have solid proficiency in Kotlin and Compose, with a proven ability to design and implement advanced architectural patterns and performance optimization techniques.
You are eager to drive automation and continue shaping a smooth release process, ensuring high‑quality delivery aligned with engineering best practices.
Experience building widely used consumer apps with GraphQL and adaptive streaming protocols such as DASH and HLS is a plus.
You are skilled in managing Git workflows, ensuring code quality, and maintaining high test coverage.
You bring a strong problem‑solving mindset and thrive in collaborative environments.
Bonus points if you have worked with TV‑specific hardware features such as remote controls, voice interaction, or Android accessibility tools like TalkBack.

For Lithuanian applicants only: monthly salary range for this position – 4300-6500 EUR (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
