We are seeking an experienced AML / CTF / Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team for Asset Management and Pension entities in cooperation with Luminor bank. This role will help strengthen the compliance framework, ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and support a culture of regulatory excellence across the organization. Position is located in Vilnius, Lithuania, but responsibility is Pan-Baltic where agreement will be signed with all 4 Asset Management Companies.

How You Will Make an Impact Combining The Two Areas:

In the role of AML / CTF and Sanctions Compliance Officer role:
  • AML/CTF and Sanctions Compliance officer’s objective is to assure proper oversight of outsourced AML / CTF and Sanctions screening services and appropriate AML / CTF and Sanctions framework for all Luminor group pension entities by participating in all the processes in AML / CTF and Sanctions area (KYC, AML compliance, entity wide risks assessments, reporting, regulatory interactions and other)

  • Assuring appropriate internal regulation framework in AML / CFT and Sanctions area for pension entities in cooperation with Luminor bank, ensuring regular ML/TF and Sanctions risk assessments for pension entities as part of group wide process

  • Contributing to the development of pension funds and other products, keeping strong knowledge of pension product and distribution of it to be able to challenge reports and other information provided by the Luminor bank

In the role of Regulatory Compliance Officer:

  • Assess, oversee, and challenge governance, processes and controls designed and implemented by the first line to manage compliance risk in the assigned conduct areas

  • Collaborate with other Luminor Group units to manage identified compliance gaps, issues and risks and follow up on implementation of the remediation action plans and Compliance recommendations

  • Oversee and execute various regulatory and compliance projects in the assigned areas

  • Securing fluent communication with respective supervisory authorities in designated areas

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services industry (preferably asset management) in AML area

  • Strong knowledge of AML/CTF legislation, sanctions regimes, FATF recommendations and relevant regulatory expectations in the UK/EU

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to make risk-based judgements with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Including, ability to draft concise regulatory reports

  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent) or demonstrable compliance training would be consider as an advantage

  • Fluent English and local language is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
