We are seeking a high-energy and innovative professional to join the Accounts Receivable team. As a member of the team, we expect you to perform a variety of finance and accounting duties supporting several of our Expert Tam functions. This position will collaborate and work closely with the various stakeholders supporting each expert function as the Finance Business Partner. 

 

What will you be doing? 

  • Responsible for invoicing functions related to several business line areas This includes invoice generation, validation, and revenue recognition. Analyzes, prepares and inputs data and adjustments into the automated on-line billing system to invoice NASDAQ customers. 
  • Responsible for the development and documentation of billing related policies and procedures, including maintenance of existing documentation. 
  • Maintains amortization schedules related to deferred revenue. Prepares roll-forward schedules for quarter-end financial statements 
  • Responsible for the preparation of General Ledger journal entries and reconciliation of deferred, unbilled receivable, AR and bank accounts to the General Ledger Identifies and resolves any reconciling items. 
  • Perform month-end and year-end financial close process. 
  • Prepare documentation and input information  to process write-off requests and referrals to outside agencies. 
  • Responsible for processing AR/AP refunds pertaining to items billed in assigned areas. 
  • Researches, analyzes and resolves inquiries and problems pertaining to billing and collections Provides timely responses to internal and external customers. Prepares/processes billing adjustments with appropriate documentation, to include billing address/name changes. Responsible for reviewing and resolving any inconsistent or incorrect data contained in the billing system.   
  • Works with internal and external auditors, as required, to respond to inquiries, provide data, etc. related to assigned areas. 
  • Researches and resolves with Accounts Payable any issues pertaining to returned checks stemming from the billing. 
  • Assists with the development, testing and implementation of modifications/enhancements to financial systems Responsible for analyzing business needs and translating the business need into system requirements Provide Quality Control testing related to new billing systems and modification to billing system for assigned areas. This area includes integration of new businesses into the billing system. 

 

Who are we looking for? 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional experience and accounting competence. 
  • Excellent English language skills and strong communication skills across different cultures. 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, emphasis on Excel. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial processes and financial system.

What happens now?  

This is a full-time permanent position located in Vilnius. Nasdaq offers a hybrid workplace to find a balance between working from home and collaborating in the office, therefore it's required to come into the office at least 3 days per week.

Monthly salary: from 2500 Eur to 3000 Eur (Before Taxes). The final salary will depend on candidate knowledge and experience, other bonuses apply.
