Join our Project Controlling Excellence Central department in Lithuania

In this position you will oversee and coordinate a team of more than 15 project controllers in accordance with existing frameworks and principles. This role offers a distinct opportunity to facilitate improvements and contribute to the sustainable transformation for both COWI and the communities we support. In COWI you will implement best practice to the project controlling area in close collaboration with the business.

On a day-to-day basis, you also will:

  • Act as a guiding influence, showcasing COWI’s leadership principles while motivating your team
  • Expected to approach problem-solving and decision-making comprehensively, considering both immediate effects and broader organizational implications
  • Your responsibility will be to ensure project controllers understand and adhere to established frameworks and principles critical for meeting our goals
  • You will manage the team's workload, ensuring tasks meet high-quality standards and are completed on time, especially regarding project invoicing
  • Ensure all projects operate in full compliance with internal policies and local laws, minimizing risks and avoiding legal issues
  • You will engage in strategic discussions with the Vice President of PCE Central and GEO, aligning goals to enhance project outcomes
  • You will aim to enhance Project Controlling by implementing best practices and innovative approaches that improve efficiency in project management

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or another relevant field

  • Thorough understanding of project controlling frameworks and principles
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with internal policies and local legislation
  • Proficient organizational skills to manage workloads and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with senior leadership
  • Ability to facilitate performance improvement and team development
  • Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken

Salary for this position ranges from 4000 – 5500 EUR before taxes. The final offer will be tailored to reflect your skills and level of experience.
